Join the National Academy of Social Insurance for an in-depth discussion of the challenges states face in designing inclusive paid family and medical leave programs.

About the webinar: Join the National Academy of Social Insurance for an in-depth discussion of the challenges states face in designing inclusive paid family and medical leave programs. Panelists will discuss how policy design choices can affect coverage, costs, and benefits. Achieving inclusive leave programs requires consideration of the particular challenges facing low-income workers, individuals in different kinds of work arrangements, people with disabilities and their families, and workers providing care for an individual who may not fall within a biological or legal definition of family. The Academy will be releasing a policy brief, Paid Family and Medical Leave Programs: State Pathways and Design Options, in conjunction with this event. Each speaker will be presenting new research on paid family and medical leave.
