Policy Summit 2026 – Closing Plenary: Meeting the Moment When Insecurity is the New Inequality

After a day focused on many of the most timely policy gaps and opportunities we face 90 years after the New Deal, this session explores what kind of society we’re choosing to be, what we owe one another, and how storytelling, moral clarity, and bold imagination can drive structural change. Framing social insurance as essential infrastructure, the conversation challenges us to meet this pivotal moment with courage, vision, and a shared commitment to building a social insurance ecosystem that allows us to show up for each other when it matters most.
