The Academy is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization headquartered in Washington, DC. Our mission is to advance solutions to challenges facing the nation, by increasing public understanding of how social insurance contributes to economic security and a thriving democracy. As a membership organization, the Academy is comprised of over 1,200 of the nation’s leaders and experts in the interdisciplinary field of social insurance.
The Academy is a collegial, supportive institution that values and encourages professional growth and development. Staff members receive ongoing training to help build skills and improve performance. Other professional development opportunities are based on your areas of interest.
