On Tuesday June 2nd,  Academy Members and partners participated in a virtual roundtable on how the pandemic has impacted the health care system. Participants discussed how COVID-19 has affected the current health care system and the long-term effects on access, cost, and quality of health care services.

The online discussion, moderated by Julie RovnerKaiser Health News, was anchored by several brief presentations on how recent legislation has addressed the impacts on the health insurance and health care delivery systems, as well as ways to address the longer-term issues that have not been addressed. Additional speakers below.

If you are analyzing the recent federal responses to COVID-19, including implications for the health care system, and would like to share your work as part of a future discussion, please contact Bill Arnone, CEO, at warnone@nasi.org.
