We Are Social Insurance
The National Academy of Social Insurance is a membership organization comprised of more than 1,300 leaders across the social insurance ecosystem – the “stewards of social insurance.” Our members inform the public debate, mentor future leaders, and inform social insurance policymaking, as scholars, researchers, advocates, policymakers, and practitioners. Membership in the Academy is not only an honor—it connects leaders across the field to a unique and diverse community united by a common purpose.
Nominate a New Member
If you are a member of the Academy, you may nominate one or more colleagues in the social insurance field for Academy membership. For membership consideration in 2026, nominations can now be submitted by Friday, October 24, 2025. Nominations received after this deadline will be kept on file for consideration the following year.
To nominate a new member:
- Submit a nomination form via a Google Form, or
- Log into your Member Dashboard on www.nasi.org and select “Nominate a New Member” from the menu.
