The National Academy of Social Insurance hosted a free, day-long seminar on Social Security Adequacy and Equity. Attendees left the event with a better understanding of Social Security's structure and financing; how income, wealth, and longevity disparities among beneficiaries affect adequacy of benefits; and the program's relevance to younger generations.
