Student Internship Programs
The Academy is uniquely qualified to provide students with challenging opportunities and experiences that cannot be found anywhere else in the country.
Our program covers seven distinct internships that are named to honor Members in a particular field of social insurance policy:
- Leeba Lessin Internship on Health and Medicare Policy (for first generation college students)
- Merton Bernstein Internship on Social Insurance
- Somers Research Internship on Long Term Care and Aging
- Eileen Sweeney Graduate Internship in Disability Policy
- Rashi Fein Internship in Health Policy
- Congressman Pete Stark Health Policy Internship
- John Burton Internship on Workers’ Compensation Research and Policy
The program consists of a 12-week summer internship that usually spans May to August.
